OHF Cares 2023 Giving Recap: Making a Difference Together

Thanks to your continued support and partnership, 2023 has been a remarkable year for OHF Cares, our charitable initiative dedicated to giving back. We are thrilled to share how your purchases have enabled us to support several incredible organizations that are making meaningful differences in people's lives.
- Embrace Dallas
For almost two decades Embrace has provided life changing programs to vulnerable children and their caregivers. Grants to Embrace help children lingering in the foster care system find the love and stability of a forever family. Foster parents are supported through respite care, support groups, and valuable training. Teens who “age-out” of foster care without an adoptive family are also supported through their programs.
- Impact Baseball
Impact Baseball is dedicated to nurturing young athletes and instilling valuable life skills through the sport of baseball. By supporting this organization, we’ve contributed to their mission of providing opportunities for youth development, fostering teamwork, and promoting healthy lifestyles. Our grant has helped fund training programs, equipment, and scholarships for aspiring young players.
- Poeima Foundation
Poeima is a unique organization that educates the public and raises awareness to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other methods of sexual exploitation. They help with the restoration journey of survivors in our safe house by providing for their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
4. All Good Studio
All Good Studio is committed to working for the good of those doing good. They provide communications services, consulting, and support for free to nonprofits that need them most. Their work has affected several causes, including human trafficking, sexual exploitation, maternal care, empowering women, transitional housing, and literacy.
- Wayforward
Wayforward is a nonprofit organization that serves adults by guiding them on backpacking trips in Colorado. During their trip, individuals explore their identity in Christ to further discover who God has made us to be. Our grant has helped to support general operations, administrative expenses, staff training, and equipment for trips.
- For the Nations: Refugee Outreach
For the Nations: Refugee Outreach is an organization seeking to serve refugees in the Dallas area. They offer a wide variety of educational programs to help refugees continue in the long process of adapting to life in the United States. They also help families adjust to life in America by advocating for them. Their vision is to bring these proven programs to more and more of the area’s large refugee population.
- Watermark
Watermark Community Church is a faith-based organization with a mission to address both local and global needs through various outreach programs. Their initiatives range from community service to international aid. Our support has enhanced their capacity to impact lives both near and far, facilitating their important work in diverse communities.
- Story Partners
Story Partners focuses on harnessing the power of storytelling to drive social change and address important issues. Their programs help amplify voices and raise awareness about critical topics. Our grant has supported their efforts to create impactful narratives that foster understanding and inspire action.
- Naomi’s House
Naomi’s House provides tailored support to victims and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Everything they do is geared toward restoring what has been lost in the evil and violence of trafficking. Through a trauma-informed, holistic approach, their team is helping women heal and achieve hundreds of personal goals. Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and committed to the full mental, emotional, and spiritual healing of each survivor, they operate under the belief that she is the best advocate for her own care.
