OHF Cares 2021 - Second Quarter Giving
Orleans Home Fragrances is excited about the opportunity to give back in 2021 through OHF Cares!
For the second quarter of 2021, we selected two charities to support through a financial donation - Pine Cove Camps and Red Stone Ministries/Living Stone Ranch!
Pine Cove is a Christian camp with locations in Texas and South Carolina. Founded in 1967, Pine Cove serves more than 40,000 campers each summer and strives to be Christ-centered, others-focused, and seriously fun! We chose Pine Cove because all of the owners here at Orleans Home Fragrances have been involved in many different Pine Cove camps throughout the years! From being former counselors to attending family camps with our kids, this ministry is near and dear to our hearts as well as many of our Orleans customers! The second organization we partnered with this quarter is one in our local community of Marble Falls, where our factory is located! Red Saw Ministries helps to meet the needs of the local community in two ways serving directly to those in need, and partnering with other local organizations to carry out their mission! One of these is Living Stone Ranch, started by the Gary family.
When the Gary family opened their hearts and home to foster children in 2013, they knew that was only the beginning of an amazing journey joining God in his work with vulnerable children and families. An incredible vision was given to them that included many children of all ages finding true peace and rest as they were unconditionally loved and cared for on the Gary Homestead (which they now affectionately call The Living Stone Ranch). In 2016, the Garys partnered with Red Saw Ministries and God’s vision began to take shape with a small slab of concrete! It is SO easy to recommend someone- just email us about the 501c3 organization that is important to you, telling us a little about the organization. Then we will reach out and ask your organization a few questions and that's it! Each quarter we'll pick from the nominations, and they'll have the potential to receive $500-$5,000! The deadline for third quarter nominations is September 15th!
